When a single stray fly goes unnoticed as it becomes trapped in the transporter machine, the DNA of the fly and the scientist are infused together during the transporter human live testing of the machine. At first, no apparent damage to the scientist's body appeared to be a problem, but as more time flies by a noticeable mutation begins to show itself in the scientist's appearance and behavior.

Geena Davis plays the girlfriend and the only bridge to sanely of the scientist who continues to transform from human to fly. She stays by her lover's side throughout the morphing of her genius boyfriend. Even though his transformation begins showing signs of violent behavior and teams of armed security teams have been sent to eliminate the problem before it gets even more dangerous, she sticks by his side.

The movie is a great science fiction testament to how sciences can quickly spinout of control and how humanity can be influenced by the smallest and sometime unknown bugs within the most well thought out scientific experiments.

The movie “The Fly” is worthy of (Renting: Yes - Buying: Yes)

Movie Review: War

“War” was a typical action movie with some high pumped action. It has a few good fight scenes and one big twist at the end. Jason Statham a British actor most famous for his parts in “The Transporter” and “Crank” plays Jack Crawford, a divorced FBI agent in search of revenge for his partner who was killed by the mysterious assassin “Rogue”.

Rogue, played by Jet Li, is an individualistic strange man with scars all over his face that is hired by the Yakuza and the Triads in San Francisco for protection, killing, and breaking deals. He's extremely well skilled in swords, guns, and martial arts. The main plot of the movie has Jack (Jason Statham) chasing Rogue (Jet Li) with some other FBI agents and some incompetent police tagging along.

Overall this movie was pretty good. If you like action movies then this is worth renting. If you were not a huge fan of this genre I would skip over it for something more inventive. My rating would be a 3 out of 5.
