• Type of Film - Drama (with some violence).
• My opinion - Best film ever, I'm not a big fan of drama - type films but the acting and plot in this film is brilliant, especially the ending!

The Fugitive

• Main Stars - Harrison Ford and Tommy Lee Jones.
• About - The intelligent Dr Richard Kimble is framed, unjustly accused of killing his wife, he must find the real one-armed killer while avoiding Marshal Sam Gerard.
• Type of Film - Action/crime/drama/thriller.
• My opinion - Two terrific actors in a gripping plot line, there is constant suspense, an altogether brilliant film!

The Godfather

• Main Stars - Al Pacino and Marlon Brando.
• About - The Corleone Mafia Family undergo a fight for control.
• Type of Film - Crime/Drama/Thriller.
• My opinion - An all time great I'm sure many of you have seen, but for those that haven't, a brilliant mafia film that gives a brilliant understanding of what it is (whilst including important morals and acting)!

Predator

• Main Star - Arnold Schwarzenegger.
• About - A team of commandos, on a mission in a Central American jungle, find themselves hunted by an extra-terrestrial warrior.
• Type of Film - Action/Horror/Sci-Fi/Thriller.
• My opinion - A great but bloody action film with Schwarzenegger in his cool muscular powerful self. Thrilling!

The Terminal

• Main Stars - Tom Hanks and Catherine Zeta Jones.
• About - An eastern immigrant finds himself stranded in JFK airport, and must take up temporary residence there, as well as facing the big problem of speaking English.
• Type of Film - Comedy/Romance/Drama.
• My opinion - A very comical film that includes everything for a casual sit down and enjoying entertainment, easy to watch and very different from what you would normally see, an excellent watch overall!

Terminator 2 - Judgment Day

• Main Star - Arnold Schwarzenegger.
• About - A shape-shifting cyborg (robot) is sent back from the future to kill John Connor before he can grow up to lead the resistance against the robots, but a protector is sent too, a familiar one.
• Type of Film - Action/Adventure/Sci-Fi/Thriller.
• My opinion - A great action film to watch that will always remain ultimately cool, Schwarzenegger is back and retains that “it's nothing personal.” Definitely a must for action fans!

The Italian Job (1969 original version)

• Main Star - Michael Caine.
• About - Charlie Croker aims for the next Italian Gold Shipment with a well organized scheme involving an almighty traffic jam.
• Type of Film - Action/Comedy/Crime.
• My opinion - A film with an extremely clever plot line with a brilliant ending - a real cliff hanging one. Furthermore it has one of the best car racing scenes yet, a brilliant robbery and a brilliant film.

The Shining

• Main Star - Jack Nicholson.
• About - A family heads to an isolated hotel for the winter where an evil and spiritual presence influences the father into violence, while his psychic son sees horrific forebodings from the past and of the future.
• Type of Film - Horror/Thriller.
• My opinion - Nicholson's best ever film with a brilliant piece of acting, watching his change of mind and personality is thrilling and so clever, his truly evil side is shown reminding me very much of a wild Jim Carey, a great horror film!

The Bourne Supremacy

• Main Star - Matt Damon.
• About - When Jason Bourne is framed for a botched CIA operation he is forced to take up his former life as a trained assassin to survive.
• Type of Film - Action / Adventure / Drama / Mystery / Thriller.
• My Opinion - The second of a brilliant trilogy that is packed with action portraying Damon as the cold killer from the first film. It's easy to grab the plot so you don't need to see the first film first (Bourne Identity- although it is good), I began with the second, so enjoy!

Ghost

• Main Stars - Patrick Swayze, Demi Moore and Tony Goldwyn.
• About - After being killed during a botched mugging, a man's love for his partner enables him to remain on earth as a ghost whilst he hunts down who killed him.
• Type of Film - Comedy / Drama / Fantasy / Mystery / Romance / Thriller.
• My opinion - Definitely a film to watch, I'm not much of lover of romance films but this is a brilliant film, it contains the lot: it's comical while romantic and at the same time thrilling, I urge you to watch it, especially those who like romantic films, a must see, a keeper!

• Freedom Writers -(Starring Hilary Swank) - A story told many time over about a teacher who changed the lives of her English students by showing them the true meaning of life and getting them interested in the English world. PG13
• Casino Royale (Daniel Craig, Judi Dench) - The latest installment of the James Bond Series, Craig makes a kicking debut as 007 in this action packed adventure, showing us Bond as we've never seen him before. Based on the first book in the series, this take pins Bond against a banker who funds international terrorism. PG13
• Memoirs of a Geisha (ZiYi Zhang, Michelle Yeoh, Ken Watanabe)- An absolutely glowing story about a Japanese girl thrown into the life of a geisha, and forced to live a life where agony and beauty live side by side, along with hidden desire and endless pain. Starring usual action actresses ZiYi Zhang and Michelle Yeoh, this film is truly spectacular. PG13.
