Bruce Almighty

There are lots questions we asked although sometimes we failed to find the correct and perfect answer. But we do not get the answer because we do not search for it in the proper way. Although it may take some years to find it, do we realize that the answer to our problem is just an inch away? We should look deep inside our hearts because God has provided us with the answers to all our questions. He is the fountain of our wisdom and the supplier of our hope.

In this movie, a man criticized him of the only one who does not do his job properly. And that he deserves to be fired and so, he has been granted the right to have all his powers although he can never mess with the free will. It is amazing, at first that you can have anything before you, waiting for you to get them. But it is wrong because he learned how to be a parasite which is dependent to the powers he have.

As the saying says, “Great Powers have great responsibilities.” At the end of the movie, he realized how wrong he has been. He knew that the job is too much for him to handle and that he wanted to be just as normal as every individual does.

Truman Show

Starring: Jim Carrey, Lauren Linnen, Noah Emmerich, Natascha Mcelhone and Holland Taylor.

Director: Peter Weir

The plot: He was funny in "me, myself and Irene", he was serious in the "number 23" now here he comes in a fantastic film called "the Truman show". After much of his life in a town called Sea heaven Truman wants to leave, but can he, is he living in a real world. Starring Jim Carrey who's acting in "me, myself and Irene" was out of this world, he makes the audience think that this is actually happening and you can feel the emotions inside of you. He also starred in the "number 23", his acting makes you feel like you're in the film.
In "the Truman show", the real director's name is actually Peter Weir; he plays Ed Harris in the film. NOW GET READY FOR THE TRUMAN SHOW. In the film Truman says a famous quote, "good afternoon good evening and good night" this quote comes at the end, this quote comes when he looks surprised and happy. Jim Carrey plays his role in the film very well. The co-star in the film is Noah Emmerich. Noah plays his role very well.

What's right with it?

When Truman finds out he is in a fake world and has a choice of escaping and he does leave it gives you an emotional feeling inside which then follows up with a burst of happiness inside you which makes me feel even greater about the film. I have to give credit to all of the actors in the film, they all performed outstanding but the one person who really impressed me was the one and only Jim Carrey. Its entertaining value is it had a lot of comedy which makes films great to watch, over and over again. The film style was really great and not forgetting the costumes they were impressive. The setting was really realistic and the film plot was spot on.

What's wrong with it?

The film weaknesses are, what am I on about, the film doesn't have any weaknesses, THIS FILM IS PERFECT.

Length: 103 minutes.

Verdict: Overall I think this film is a must watch. I would defiantly recommend this film to other people because it's entertaining and funny. If I was to put this film into one word I would say, MAGNIFICENT. In my opinion I would give this film a .

10 Comedies That Changed my Life

Spaceballs (24 June 1987)

Mel Brooks, a pure parody genius. I was four when this was released however, I probably watched it for the first time when I was ten. I believe this is the best parody movie ever made. I makes it that much more special with all these parody movies coming out today, I.E. SCARY MOVIE, EPIC MOVIE, and they are all rubbish..

Let the farce be with you..

Princess Bride (25 September 1987)

Rob Reiner and William Goldman teaming up to make a true classic. I watched this again last week and it is just brilliant. I love how loose and free the 80's were. I mean how can you go wrong with andre the giant!

Hello. My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father prepare to die.

Ferris Bueller's Day Off (11 June 1986)

I think this movie shaped Everyone's life.. John Hughes shows us truly how to play hooky. It also goes to show what you can accomplish if you use your smarts. I also like the idea that it shows that lack of responsibility you can have as a teen. Life isn't so structured.

Old School (21 February 2003)

Vince Vaughn and Will Ferrell are comic geniuses in this post animal house world. Great idea, great characters.. Great movie.

Knocked Up (1 June 2007)

Judd Apatow and Seth Rogen team up to create one of the best comedies in ever. They create a movie that isn't plot driven, but character driven. With characters that are actually believable, and that is what makes it funny.. hard to do.. and props to them.

Half Baked (16 January 1998)

I don't know how many times I have blazed and watch this movie.. and It still never gets old.. probably cause I can never remember it...

funions… yeah.. funions...

Super Troopers :
(15 February 2002)

Somehow the broken lizard guys made cops likeable. The dialogue in this movie is brilliant. The viewer can tell that these guys are friends in real life.. and don't forget about Farva. I got you good you f**cker. The intro scene is by far the best intro ever.

Something About Mary (15 July 1998)

Farrelly Brothers, I remember seeing this opening night and the theater was going crazy.. Just too funny.

Wedding Singer Date:
(13 February 1998)

I am sorry that this is so high on the list, but fuck it.. I have seen it more than any other movie. I own it, and I still watch it with commercials every time it is on tv.

Dumb and Dumber (16 December 1994)

Still the greatest of all time.. Once again the Theater experience for this movie was insane.. People were literally rolling in the aisles.. I have never seen it again.. Plus Jim Carey Jeff Daniels and the untainted Farrelly Brothers.. Got to love it..

The "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind" Movie & Human Evolution

Yes, humans are truly and continuously evolving. We humans invent and create more and more things that were probably unimaginable centuries and centuries ago. And to think our intelligence causes the earth's destruction. We are divided over our comfort and that of the future of our world.

Yes we are evolving. How else can we explain the concept of erasing parts of our memories completely through voluntary and technological means? How else can you explain Lacuna, Incorporated's business operation? How can you explain fiddling with people's minds and memories, something that no common human person would do?

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind may seem like a big promotional movie for Lacuna, Inc. And yes you may be somewhat reminded of Vanilla Sky, but this Hollywood movie starring Jim Carrey and Kate Winslet is a fictional take on the power of love and the human mind. Before I saw this movie, I could only say that we should be careful of what we ingest mentally. Not everything that could seem to advice or tell us what we should do for our comfort is actually good for us.

But then upon watching the movie, I believe even our advancements in technology and how we humans have been living our lives somewhat contradict each other in some way. We strip ourselves of our humanity but we keep going back to live the life we forgot or want to forget. That is what this movie is all about. It shows us that humans are meant to live and experience life and learn from everything. Technology is just there to help us realize our humanity.

Human evolution is relative. We must evolve in a better way for a better future. We must make good choices and world-helpful actions. Human evolution will reach its end. But before it does, make sure that you did your part in making the world a nice, happy and better place to live in.
