Must-see Films: Powder

I saw a movie today called "Powder."
It was about an Albino teen with a gift,
growing up in a small, narrow-minded town.
In the end, the albino teen that everyone called Powder grew up to be a very caring, loving person.
Along the way he used his gift to open the hearts and minds of those around him.

What this film re-enforced for me was that we all have a purpose.
It also shares a very poignant lesson in love and compassion.
Just because a person is different, that is no reason to abuse them,
as I have often stated myself.

Human compassion, natural affection, it is a gift to be cherished.
I notice in this day and age, many people are cold and out for themselves.
People complain left and right that they aren't getting what they think they deserve.
When, and how did this world become so self-centered and bitter?

I believe we could all benefit from the lessons "Powder" displays.
If you haven't seen it, it is a must see movie.
It will warm even the coldest of hearts.
