Preceded by The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe (2005), this episode starts from Narnia, which is now taken over by the Telmarines. Just then, King Miraz's wife, gave birth to a newborn son. Prince Caspian then was in danger as King Miraz wants to be the King of Narnia. His professor helped him to run to the woods of Narnia, which was knowned to be the place where the old Narnians(talking animals, centaurs etc.) lives.

While on the run, he met some Narnians. He was also surrounded by the soldiers that were hunting for him. Desperate for help, he blew the horn that his professor gave him for emergency uses.

From then, it was back to the Pevenzies. They we're waiting for the train to come. Suddenly, something magical was happening. It was like something was taking them to somewhere. It was Narnia. They then had fun at the beach, and explored the place. They found the place they once lived-Cair Paravel. It was in ruins. Back to King Miraz, his soldiers found a Narnian. In the council, he proved that there were Narnians living, and mocked them saying "they are breeding like cockroaches". That Narnian was ordered to be dropped into the sea.

The Pevenzies saved the dwarve, which later is also knowned as DLF(Dear Little Friend). The D.L.F then lead the Pevenzies to Prince Caspian. On the way, Lucy saw Aslan, waving her to come to him. The others didn't believe her, so they used the other way which was occupied by the Telmarines. They then decided to follow Lucy's plan.

The next day, Lucy dreams of Aslan. She then woke up and went to find Aslan. Suddenly Peter hid her, as someone was coming. Peter than was attacked by Prince Caspian, who he didnt really get along with him =p. They grouped together in Aslan's How and made a plan. They were going to sneak attack the Telmarines.

The plan worked out at the start. But soon, the Telmarines discovered the plan because of King Miraz. An exciting battle went on for awhile, with Susan using her archery skills which wasn't shown much in the 1st episode. Peter then decided to attack King Miraz, but after seeing a Narnian died easily, he changed his mind. Not too long later, King Miraz ordered his men to close the large entrance of the castle. A minotaur tried his best to stop the entrance from closing, despite being shot at. Peter, Edmund, Susan and Prince Caspian managed to escape along with other Narnians, but the others were stuck inside the castle. They then when back to Aslan's How to deliver the bad news of the defeat.

Prince Caspian was sad. Nikabrik and another creature told him about the White Witch. They then summoned the White Witch, while Peter and Edmund trying to them them. All they have to do to make the White Witch revive is a drop of son of Adam's blood(human blood). Edmund managed to stop it. Nikabrik and the other creature was killed too.

Prince Caspian came up with an idea: it is better for a man to die rather than many to die. He suggested King Peter to have a duel with King Miraz. Whoever loses, the whole army will lose too. Edmund send the challenge to King Miraz which he cannot refuse (due to some law or something).

The duel starts. Peter comes in a very stylist manner with a slash on King Miraz. During the duel, both were badly injured. They had a minute's break after that. When they continue, King Miraz almost killed Peter, but Peter who is determined to win, fought back and held King Miraz at his mercy. Peter then gave the sword to Prince Caspian to finish him off(because King Miraz killed his father). But he didn't. General Glozelle, who was embaressed by King Miraz, sought to take revenge. He killed him and made it look like the Narnians killed him. He then yelled" Treachery! Telmar! To Arm! Treachery!". They they fought.

The Narnians had a very good startegy plan, for example luring them to Aslan's How and collapsing it, which resulted in many Telmarines death. The Telmarines were forced to retreat because of the trees that helped the Narnians. Lucy who was finding Aslan earlier, found him and they helped too. The Telmarines were surrounded on the bridge, most of them died or surrender.

In the end, Aslan gave the Telmarines the option to go back to Telmar, or stay in Narnia. Some of them stayed, some of them went back to Telmar. Susan and Peter had to go back to England too. Susan, who was in love with Prince Caspian, kissed Prince Caspian goodbye. So they went back and that's it.

Stand and Deliver

A computer programmer, Jaime Escalante quit his job and became a math teacher at Garfield Senior High-School located in the East Los Angeles in California. Jaime drives a VW Bug and teaches 18 high school students calculus well enough for them to pass an Advance Placement Calculus Exam. Most of the 18 high school students struggle with multiplication and fractions and are gang-members and have no hope. However, Jaime Escalante says they have potential and turns them into the country's top calculus and algebra students by teaching them strategies. After teaching them for months, the Advance Placement Calculus Exam takes place. They were given an hour and thirty minutes to complete the exam.

After the exam, there was an announcement saying 18 students tried the Advance Placement test and 18 of them passed. A few days later, the school called and assumed the students cheated because they all had the same wrong answers. Jaime Escalante was furious when he heard this. One of his students called in and asked if all 18 students can re-take the Advance Placement Test. The school allowed them to re-take the test but had only one day to study. Jaime Escalante and the students studied all day and night for the test the next day.

The next day, everyone re-took the test. Every single student passed the Advance Placement test with different scores that year in 1982. The amount of people passing from Garfield High School now increased every year from 18 people in 1982 to 87 people passing in 1987.

My favorite part in the movie was when after Jaime had an argument with the people that suspected that the students cheated, he left the building and had found his VW Bug missing. Jaime had to walk all the way home and when he got home; he went upstairs to his room and sat on the bed. A few minutes later, a few of his students came by his house and shouted that they fixed his car up. Jaime's son said, “Hey dad, look at your new car!!” I liked that part because that part was funny.

Review: Hot Rod

A comedic movie about an average man who just wants to prove to his deceased father that he can fallow his footsteps in being an incredible stunt man.

This is actually a pretty funny movie, although when watching it I did notice a lot of similarities with Napoleon Dynamite. The story is simple and the characters are simple, but lets face it, a movie like this isn't watched for the plot. If you have an above average sense of humor, you will be laughing for a good part of it. Adam Sandberg is a good main actor for the movie, his facial features add to the enjoyment. It almost makes me want to watch Saturday Night Live right now, just to see the resemblance between the characters.

I think it could be a good date movie, if your date isn't too stuck up that is. I thought most of the funny parts were already shown on the previews, like most movies, but believe it or not, they weren't.

So happy viewing and my next movie preview will be Superbad.

Fight Club

A man manages to lose his mind and accidentally create a loyal and violent army bent on the destruction of society. Awesome.

Traffic

This is your brain on drugs. Dead. And if you wanna get in the way of some Mexicans trying to sell some drugs? Dead. Everybody pays dearly in the this film. It’s an expensive public service message for not doing coke.

Braveheart

Mel Gibson did Hamlet, and as far as I’m concerned he’s paid his dues and can be as awesome as he wants screaming and murdering hundreds of fully grown men with his bare hands.

Carlitos Way

Friends can end you sometimes, or a man can try so hard to get away from a life of sad endings and still get shot to death by an ignorant fool.

American Ninja

I want ninjas fighting for our country!

The Boondock Saints

The Irish man is a crazy man born into a family of crazies. These two have it instilled in themselves to execute whomever they so desire.

Unforgiven

Everybody misjudges each other on a bad day with hilarious but bittersweet tragic results, and then Clint murders everyone.

Billy Jack

Yet another crazy man, trying to come to peace with himself and his surroundings, is completely underestimated by idiots and easy hippie girls. “ya know what I‘m gonna do then, just for the hell of it? I‘m gonna take this right foot and I‘m gonna whop you and that side of your face. and ya know something? There’s not a damn thing you’re gonna be able to do about it.”

Napoleon Dynamite

All he wants is success, love, and friendship but he’s just too awesomely retarded for anyone to understand.

Heat

Robbery, passion, backstabbing, murder, and child suicide in Los Angeles.

Leon (The Professional)

A little girl’s entire family is massacred by crooked federal agents, so a hired killer takes her in and through learns to love life again before exploding.

Perfume: the Story of a Murderer

This was a story that has been long deemed unfilmable , but somehow, German director Tom Tywker (Run Lola Run) has managed to succeed where Ridley Scott, Tom Burton and Stanley Kubrick failed.

Tywker has brought Patrick Suskind's widely popular literary historical horror masterpiece Perfume, to the big screen. On top of managing seemingly impossible, he has also managed to deliver an entertaining film that captures the imagination without playing for cheap and easy thrills.

Talented British newcomer Ben Whishaw weighs in with an impressive turn as a Jean Baptiste Grenouille, a young 18th century Frenchman blessed with an extraordinary sense of smell and a unique talent for discerning the scents that swirl around him. Born without an odour of his own, Grenouille endeavors to manufacture the perfect perfume from flesh of murdered virgin and sets off on a journey that takes him from the putrid streets o Paris to the paradise of perfume that is Grasse.

Obsessed with the idea of preserving the human scent-something that he considers the soul of a person-he begins murdering beautiful young women, whose beautiful bouquet turns his head, in order to distill their smell .

When 12 young girls are found murdered, panics rule as the people as Grasse rush to protect their daughters. Oblivious to the clamor around him, an unrepentant and unrelenting Grenouille continues his quest to create the ultimate perfume: a human scent that is simply irresistible to all who come into contact with it.

With able support from Dustin Hoffman - excellent as the master perfumer Baldini who takes Grenouille under his wing- Alan Rickman and the gorgoes Rachel Hurd-Wood, plus an incredible, climatic scene that is likely to enter cinema here, Perfume come s across as thoroughly enjoyable fare with a fresh and original.
