I can't believe there are no other comments on these Left Behind reviews yet. I read the series as each book came out. As a school and church librarian, I would have a long waiting list of patrons who wanted to read the book as soon as we bought it. (Of course, the librarian has to read it first in order to intelligently discuss it with patrons).
The movies are very well done, but they just can't do justice to a great book series. I wonder how they will do the next ones - they will have to use lots of special effects, especially for all of the plagues.
