The Amityville Horror (1979)

Haunted houses do exist...

It was in 1979 so even if the effects weren't as scary as i wanted, it was forgivable.

George and Kathy Lutz, newlyweds, moved in a big house with their three children. They considered it their dream house despite knowing the history of that house-- aparrently, a year ago, a family was murdered there.

All those who went to visit them had creeps, and ended up feeling ill. In the end, when the house seemed to kill the family, they managed to escape and live away from the haunted house.

It was based on a true story. So haunted houses do exist.

It was well, not that scary, but enough for me to think twice if ever i would buy a house. Houses do have memories.
