I like movies and Out of Africa is one of them. The principle actor in Out of Africa was Robert Redford and that is the only actor I think most of us remember about. Out of Africa is about the life of Karen Blixen in East Africa and Denmark her mother country where she returned after spending some years in Africa. What I know about Karen Blixen is that she is of Royal blood. In French they called it the blue blood, the blood of nobles. So, Karen Blixen is from a Royal Family. The family of Karen Blixen used to reign in Denmark and lived in the northern part where the Palace Frederickborg is located. Chronologically, Karen Blixen left Denmark with her brother. Karen Blixen was the only daughter of her father and mother and she had brothers. She helped in the househood and decided to travel like other explorers. She had a farm, a coffee farm in Kenya.
The story of Karen Blixen is very important to know about because it is the courage of a Princesse to come to Africa with her hospitality. Actually coffee helps to socialize and talk together at all times during breakfast, lunch, tea time and supper. It is good to end a meal with coffee to avoid to be sleepy. Kenya where she lived has a varied weather from the mountains to the ocean. The ocean is the Indian Ocean on which is built the town of Mombasa. There are many hotels there which are resorts with activities like music, dance, and very good meals.
Karen Blixen remains a mystery and that is how women are often. She had an important impact in Africa because women are not the head of the family in Africa. In history we have heard about the rebellion of the Mau Mau.
So, Karen Blixen a leader like the Capetian family of France. This is possible. Karen represents well diplomacy.
