First off, don't think that I'm condoning any of these actors. I did like Dane Cook at one time because at one time he was hilarious. His whole bit on going to church as a young catholic was hilarious. He was psychotic and didn't need to be completely vile to get a chuckle. Now, I wouldn't go see him if you bought me the tickets… maybe if free dinner and ear plugs came along though. I'm all about some free food. As for Dax, I haven't seen anything vile about him yet but I'm sure it'll happen sooner or later. It always does. Thus far, however, he's been amusing. I never watched the Punk'd show much but I liked him in Up a Creek or whatever that movie was called. "My mind's telling me no… but my body, my body's telling me yes!"
So, I'm a bit confused as to why two relatively funny guys would gamble what progress they have made on a movie starring Jessica Simpson! I mean, it's not really a stretch for her. How hard is it to play a cute blonde girl that's such a tool that she only dates guys that have made it to the illustrious position of "Employee of the Month" at a freaking Big Lots, or whatever store it is? I don't think we have to worry about seeing Jessica in "Taming the Shrew" anytime soon. I can picture her acting coach now, "Jessica, you're such a talent. It's time you let others shine. Show how gracious you are by allowing actresses like Kate Winslet or Rachel McAdams play those silly Shakespearean roles." Then he departs and yacks up his beluga caviar in the bushes.
