As you may have already noticed, I love movies. However, when I watch those behind-the-scenes footage and clips of movies, I love movies even more than before. Behind-the-scenes footage and clips continue to make me appreciate the movies as an art form even more than ever before. I am just so amazed, and in awe of, how much hard work and creativity goes into every movie made. It is just awesome to witness that in greater depth through behind-the-scenes sequences.
When you watch behind-the-scenes footage and clips of movies, you realize that every little detail counts, and is essential to the movie. Actors, directors, producers, assistant directors, casting directors, location managers, production managers, directors of photography, directors of audiography, art directors, production designers, storyboard artists, production sound mixers, sound designers, foley artists, composers, choreographers, property masters, script supervisors, stills photographers, picture editors, sound editors, film editors, and anyone else that I may have forgotten to mention are all important to the process of movie-making. Without the actors, we'd have no movie.
Without the directors, we'd have no movie. You get the picture! We need them all to make a good movie. We need them all to make any kind of movie. However, it's not just the people; it's also the process that's important. There are essentially four major steps in movie-making-development, pre-production, post-production, and sales and distribution. Every step of the process of movie-making is done with creativity and care.
