The movie "Redacted" is about the rape and murder of a 15 year old Iraqi girl by U.S. troops. This movie portrays our troops as monsters and in the worst light possible. The film exaggerates one horrific incident and manipulates viewers to believe this kind of act happens daily in Iraq.
Filmmaker Brian De Palmer's anti-war views made this film disturbing to watch without becoming overwhelmed with emotion. This awful film portrays all soldiers as wicked vicious men which is far from the truth. Although based on a true story. The way the story is told is pure propaganda.
In "Battle for Haditha" and "Body of War" soldiers are depicted as feeble causalities. All of these anti-war films are very graphic and compelling.
