What Should We Expect Out of Fantastic Four 3

The Fantastic Four movie franchise and how it can be saved.

Hello everyone, I'm Robert Wood. Movie Buff and Amateur Filmmaker. I hope to appeal to all the disappointed fans of such movies based on hit characters of the American culture. I travel all over the blogs of the world wide web only to see that every fan who visits complains about the movie. My vision is to write about movies that should be and the politics in Hollywood. Plus other subjects of the most popular part of the multimedia culture.

To start I would like to discuss 20th Century Fox's failure towards fans, Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer. Although many of the fans were disappointed in the lack of action and the direction it took to be approved by all ages, it was still in my opinion a good film.

The action had been increased since the first one, and the return of Doctor Doom gave him a new makeover. It was all around a satisfying movie. But what wasn't good for the fans was the arrival of a very well known character, Galactus. Whom was portrayed as a “cosmic cloud” in the film. In the comics however he is an interstellar being of immense power and somewhat represents a human, almost like a giant.

It was understandable, of course to assume that portraying a purple giant in a film would seem unrealistic, and perhaps silly. The filmmakers went with a life-sucking cosmic cloud, which wasn't good for the fans but good for kids and everyone else. However, in Spider-man 3, they portrayed the Sandman in the final battle as a giant man of sand. Which in any sense was unrealistic enough to be cool.

Although these movies are under two different visions, Tim Story lacks the will and courage to take a risk and go with the comics. Unlike Sam Raimi who never let me down in any Spider-man film.

So, you readers out there are probably looking for any insight on the next Fantastic Four film. I've heard rumors that Jessica Alba wants to bring in Franklin Richards in the next film. However in my opinion thats a big leap for for Reed alone as a character. Plus, with the disappointed jargon I've read on blogs, I would have to say that Fox needs to replace Tim Story with a better director, one who knows how to tell a story and still keep some intense action throughout the film.

That director is Michael Bay. After his recent film, Transformers my critical opinion of him has changed for the better and nothing would make me happier than to see him direct a superhero film. So, if you readers like this opinion listen up. I would expect that in a story when you are dealing with a multiple character movie, its harder to put them into action with one villain. So, what do you do?

Instead of bringing in one villain at a time they should introduce the Skrull. An alien race of immense power and a reputation for greed to rule the galaxy. The FF don't always just fight one villain and then call it a night. No, they travel to other worlds and dimensions and stumble across either a hostile or kind race of beings.

So, in order to keep the action going you need to add in more villains. From the FF legacy or not. The FF fight everyone who threatens New York. The Torch even has a relationship with Spider-man, maybe they should bring him as a guest appearance and fight the Sinister Six or someone we haven't seen yet.
