Role Model: Bruce Wayne

Bruce Wayne is a role model in the way he separates his life into two different persona to go after his goal.

Bruce Wayne is a role model. He realizes that with his resources he has the power to help people, and does not want others to stuffer the loss he did. The violent murder of his parents' in front of him as a child while leaving early from an evening at the opera in Gotham City one night was very traumatic event and Bruce never forgot how much it hurt. He felt a deep desire to strike back against the person who took their lives. Alfred Pennyworth, the family butler, became his guardian and helped him mourn.

His father was a medical doctor and very wealthy so he grows up to be a multi-billionaire industrialist, playboy, and philanthropist. Because of the money left to him, and money made by the company Wayne Enterprises, Bruce was able to train in martial arts, and learned to think like a criminal. Lucius Fox is Wayne's business manager, and runs the company for Bruce.

As Batman, using the resources he has at hand from Wayne Enterprises, he steps in to help people in situations as Bruce Wayne; he would be unable to help. He also sometimes oversteps his bounds to out think criminals. He relies on trusted people for guidance in those times.

Bruce Wayne lives the life of two personas. Batman must do the right thing to help the people, even if it means working as a vigilantly. Bruce Wayne takes the other burden of being irresponsible at times, and acting as a playboy. Bruce Wayne gave up being Bruce as a person to take on the role of Batman. In doing this, he is able to focus in on his goal, and look for the right opportunities to capture his criminals. At the same time he is only human, and even if he plans for every risk, he is not always able to stop everything.
