The movie Jumper follows a young man who discovers that he can instantly travel, or "jump" from any place to any other place, as long as he can picture it in his mind. The movie also shows a conflict between those who have this power and those who wish to stop them.
When I first heard about this movie, I thought that jumpers could travel through time as well. I was also under the impression that they were some sort of heroes, possibly part of some sort of law enforcement organization. This is not the case.
Jumpers do not travel through time, and they are not heroes, either. Good and evil is a bit of a gray area in jumpers.
I found Jumper to be an entertaining romp around the world. The story moved at a decent pace at the beginning and at the end, but action slowed down a bit in the middle. As a valentine's day release, this movie was just about guaranteed to have a love story. The special effects were good, and the acting was not too bad.
In conclusion, I recommend watching Jumper. If I had to give this movie some sort of rating, I'd give it two and a half out of four stars.
