"Hot Fuzz" Review

A review of the movie "Hot Fuzz".

And I thought all towns in England were boring. This movie runs amuck with Simon Peg leading the way. It’s a nice new take on comedy cop movies. Move over Mel Gibson and Danny Glover, or Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker. This crime fighting duo takes you on a fast paced thrill ride. It starts as more of a horror movie, but then comes the action. Simon Peg plays Sergeant Nick Angel, and he is just too good for other London constables to bare.

He’s then moved to a small rural village where accidents seem to be taking the lives of it’s villagers. There he teams up with PC Butterman (Nick Frost). The most awesome friend a guy could have.

Together they begin to investigate the accidents (which seem to all be mysteriously connected). This is where the comedic twists enter, and it all ends up in an old western style shoot out. So, watch out for the hedge clippers, and make sure not to stand to close to the church. Hot Fuzz is one of the better movies I’ve seen all year. I highly recommend it. 8/10
